1 Use a medium nylon brush
2 Brushing upper and lower jaw separately. Divide each jaw into three ie. Inside outside and biting surfaces.
3 Doing two teeth at a time angle the brush at a 45 degree angle to the gum margin. Do a circular motion and flick up over the tooth surfaces.
4 It takes at least 2 minutes to brush teeth properly and should be done thoroughly once a day preferably last thing at night.
5 Change your toothbrush at least every 2 months.
6 Back teeth are hard to reach. Opening the mouth a little and moving your lower jaw to one side or the other helps to make it easier to get the brush back to the very back tooth.
1 Best to follow manufacturers instructions.
2 Make sure not to move the brush head. This will wear the heads out sooner than is necessary.
